When we talk about self care we can think it means being completely calm and zen. But self care is about doing something that you think is fun and that you enjoy. Ya, sometimes we need to calm down a little but there are also a lot of times when we need to get out of comfort zones and do something that we just feeeel like doing. ⁠

If you feel you should take a bubble bath for your “self-care time” but don’t actually like bubble baths…then don’t do it.⁠
